The pain and inflammation felt after a workout is called delayed onset muscle soreness (or DOMS). DOMs is a sign of a good workout, it's an indication that you have pushed yourself, which induces muscle growth and progression in your training. Athletes and active people use CBD, a natural substance extracted from the hemp plant, to reduce their recovery time. CBD has anti-inflammatory properties to assist with a smoother and faster recovery after strenuous exercise. WADA removed CBD from its list of banned substances in 2018.
